As Mayor, I extend a cordial welcome!

Washington life span encompasses the period from the western frontier to this age of modern technology. We respect the past, seek to preserve our history and look to the future. Our exceptional historical museum will take you back in time. Our developing industrial park continues to grow. We are home to KSDS, a unique dog-training center for dogs which assist the disabled and blind to a better life and independence. Our children have a new, state-of-the-art playground “Munchkinland” in our beautiful city park. These examples characterize the varied interests and concerns of our citizens.

Feel free to traverse through these web pages and go it one better by visiting us in person.

--Mayor, Harold H. Jones, Jr.
